A professional troublemaker
I tell stories about the future that could happen,
and help develop concepts around what should happen.
My mission is simple: to encourage society to question the narratives through which we experience our world, and to use that mass of critical thinking to enable conversations that will elicit the change that will better prepare humanity for the enormous challenges that lie ahead.Read more?
My current focus is:
How technology shapes social behaviors? How will automation and algorithmic intelligence impact society? What are the emerging narratives and trends that drive transformation? And more.
Awakening society & The misfit cultures of innovation
What is innovation? How experimentation and creativity enable prosperity in a digital society? How do we build a culture of exploration and curiosity? How do we rethink our thinking and secure growth in a changing market place? And more.
Awakening future – business not as usual
How to build an understanding of the complex equation of technology versus societal wants and needs? How technology is impacting economic development? What are the ethics and morals of the future? What is the future of work? And more.
I have spent my adult life — and most of my childhood — engrossed imagining the future and the potentials that drive it. As someone with atypical curiosity – I found myself sailing with Captain Nemo, escaping the ordinary into the land of wonder.
By high school, I decided that the formal education system is more a pipe designed to feed the “norm” rather than a place to build up curiosity — a lesson I carried with me throughout life. As a result, I chose a path that will always challenge me and the status quo (therefore the troublemaker). But also be governed by a unique side effect – enabling me to look back into the present. I build up my career on “things that I knew that I didn’t know.” I always took assignments that I hadn’t done before. I regularly pushed myself to explore new fields, tools, and methods that would redefine my vantage point on any given challenge.
I currently reside in Gothenburg, Sweden. I’m splitting my time between helping governments, NGOs and C-Suite executives to explore coming opportunities at TEMPUS.MOTU, challenging the status quo at the Dead Rabbit Society and setting up and international Think-Do-Rethink tank to help countries/organisations to find the right path forward. I travel and change the way we experience the world, the way we think about thinking, and transform the way we understand change. I give speeches that frame questions and help people identify and abandon old paradigms and rethink thinking.
