A professional troublemaker

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”  ― Winston S. Churchill

My mission is simple: to encourage society to question the narratives through which we experience our world, and to use that mass of critical thinking to enable conversations that will elicit the change that will better prepare humanity for the enormous challenges that lie ahead.

My work and research areas are designed to offer strategic insights with a focus on illustrating areas where technology, policy and societal partnerships will be necessary in order to respond to constant changes in our world.

I tackle the fundamental building blocks of growth  and prosperity - vision, collaboration, and structure. My sessions are intended to provoke you to better understand your pain-points, eliminate or design friction, and strengthen your resilience and sustainability abilities across the organization and individually. My keynotes help you shine a spotlight on your ability to THINK, and more importantly ACT differently.

I have spent my adult life — and most of my childhood — engrossed imagining the future and the potentials that drive it. As someone with atypical curiosity – I found myself sailing with Captain Nemo, escaping the ordinary into the land of wonder.

By high school, I decided that the formal education system is more a pipe designed to feed the “norm” rather than a place to build up curiosity — a lesson I carried with me throughout life. As a result, I chose a path that will always challenge me and the status quo (therefore the troublemaker). But also be governed by a unique side effect – enabling me to look back into the present. I build up my career on “things that I knew that I didn’t know.” I always took assignments that I hadn’t done before. I regularly pushed myself to explore new fields, tools, and methods that would redefine my vantage point on any given challenge.

I currently reside in Gothenburg, Sweden. I’m splitting my time between helping clients track, understand and react to the enormous changes that humanity is facing at TEMPUS.MOTU, creating new opportunities for business at BLACK SWAN THEATRE and challenging people and organisation to challenge themselves around the US SDG's at CROSS THE RUBICON FOUNDATION. I travel and change the way we experience the world, the way we think about thinking, and transform the way we understand change. I give speeches that frame questions and help people identify and abandon old paradigms and rethink thinking.

“Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain.” - Vivian Greene

Reality is a balanced adaptation of both scientific and philosophical approaches to wellbeing. “Survival of the fittest” doesn’t necessarily mean being the fastest or the strongest, but rather being fit, agile and adjusted to your specific environment and time. This is as true for the individual as it is for business.
